Ep. 8: Shintaro collapses after hospital confrontation while Mekakushi Dan secrets are revealed

At the hospital, Shintaro attempts to clarify his circumstances to Momo’s group before encountering Hibiya, who suspects foul play regarding the incident. Shintaro seeks information from Hibiya but collapses, prompting Kido to recognize a unique power manifestation and transport him to the hideout for recovery. While Seto searches for Kano, Kido details the Mekakushi Dan’s origins, explaining how members acquired abilities after escaping a rift during near-death events. Momo lost her father in this rift while nearly drowning. Upon learning Hiyori is trapped within the rift, Hibiya departs to find her. Kido and Momo pursue him, while Shintaro finds a photograph of Ayano while visiting Marry.
