Fujioka approaches Kana with a book for Chiaki while Riko calculates the move, but Hiroko observes and recruits Riko for courage-building exercises that fail. Riko then joins Keiko and Fujioka for a home study session, finding comfort in their proximity despite not confessing her feelings. The group nearly experiences a system error when they discover the bathtub filled to retain heat and choose to shower instead. Later, test results show Riko, Fujioka, and Kana scoring near Keiko’s perfect mark. Finally, Makoto and Touma discuss receiving Valentine’s Day chocolates as a joke, leading Kana to play Othello with Chiaki after claiming she needs practice celebrating the holiday.
