Ep. 8: Karyuudo Tsukishima requests diary transfer as Yuki faces dog attack and Hinata's true identity.
Deus convenes the eight surviving diary holders, including Karyuudo Tsukishima the Tenth, who seeks to transfer his diary's ownership. Two weeks after Reisuke's disappearance, Yuki and Yuno enroll in a new school amidst a wave of brutal murders. After school, the pair infiltrate a crime scene with classmates Hinata, Mao, and Kousaka. When Hinata wanders off, Yuki's diary predicts an attack, prompting a rescue attempt that reveals Hinata's corpse near vicious dogs. Aru Akise, a classmate investigating strange events, guides them to safety. To protect the group, Yuki reveals his diary's existence, causing the dogs to retreat. Mao then seizes the diary at knifepoint and returns it to a living Hinata, who reveals herself as the Breeder Diary holder targeting Aru, another diary owner.
