Conan and Jimsy investigate the vessel as Lana alerts the settlement to the threat from Industrians. Orlo’s forces attempt resistance but fail. The duo returns with Tera, prompting the villagers to prepare for battle, though Orlo chooses to side with Industria. Orlo and his men feign pursuit by Industrians to join the villagers. Conan heads to assist Gil in destroying the ship, but the Gun Boat anticipates their move. As the vessel bombs the area closer to the settlement, Orlo seizes control of the village. On his way back, Conan spots the piglet Jimsy gave to Lana, senses her peril, and rushes to rescue her.
