Lao leaves the children on the Baracuda and returns to Industria. The ship arrives at High Harbor, where a local resident attempts to damage it in retaliation for Lana's kidnapping. Once Lana clarifies the situation, the resident assists the vessel in reaching the shore for docking. Lana then provides Conan and Jimsy with a tour of the harbor. They subsequently meet with the village chief, who is Lana's uncle. He permits Conan and Jimsy to stay with his family during their visit. This sequence of events resolves the initial conflict and establishes their accommodation within the community while the group remains in High Harbor.
