Genki and Mocchi successfully climb out of the canyon, but Genki leaves Mocchi, who is caught by a Clay, behind to rescue his friends and all the slaves. They encounter Pixie for a decisive battle, but the ruins collapse during their fight. Big Blue digs them out of the debris. During this ordeal, Pixie realizes that imprisoning humans is exactly what she despises the most. Consequently, she decides to join the Searchers' cause, ending her opposition to them. This shift in allegiance marks a significant turning point as she abandons her previous goals to support the group she once fought against.
