Delegates from the Kairoushuu and Banten clans arrive at Alya Academy in Kouga Village to negotiate the future of the Nabari world. They are received by the academy students, who are aware that the village leader is dying. Despite the diplomatic meeting, all parties are secretly motivated by the desire to obtain the Daya, which serves as the kinjutsushō of Kouga Village. Confusion arises as Tobri struggles to comprehend Miharu's decision to defect to the Kairoushuu clan. Tensions escalate when the academy students launch a nighttime attack against the ninja representatives from both clans, revealing the underlying hostility beneath the surface negotiations.
