Ep. 17: Yukimi searches for Tobari while Raimei and Kouichi face an attack by Yukimi.

Yukimi visits Hanabusa to find Tobari but leaves after learning nothing. The next day, Raimei informs Kouichi she is helping Miharu obtain the Engetsurin. Yukimi attacks them, prompting Raimei to lead Yukimi to the school to hide Tobari’s location. Tobari confronts the ninja, but Yoite prevents Yukimi from fighting back. Yukimi retreats, and Yoite subsequently develops a high fever with discoloration and scars on his hands. Tobari disappears completely. Hattori suspects Yoite and Miharu will rebel and proceeds to the next step. Finally, Yoite and Miharu leave Hanabusa's home.
