In Konoha, Sai tells Sakura that Naruto’s obsession with retrieving Sasuke stems from love for her, causing her guilt. She leaves to talk to him while Shikamaru seeks her permission to kill Sasuke to avoid war with the Hidden Cloud. At the Summit, Ay is furious that Mifune suggested Danzo lead the Shinobi Alliance. Ao, who obtained a Byakugan years ago, exposes that Danzo replaced his right eye with Shisui Uchiha’s Sharingan, accusing the acting Hokage of manipulating Mifune. This revelation fuels Ay’s anger. Suddenly, White Zetsu appears, revealing Sasuke’s presence at the summit before Ay captures him. Meanwhile, Naruto faces Tobi.
