Sai, Omoi, and Zaji are surrounded by advancing reanimated ninja, including Zabuza and Haku, until Kakashi’s division arrives to rescue them. The enemy forces are identified as Pakura, a Sand Scorch-Style user, and Gari, an explosion ninja from the Hidden Stone. Kakashi and Sakura recognize Zabuza and Haku, who explain their influence on Naruto and provide Haku with closure regarding Zabuza’s final moments. However, Kabuto removes their free will, forcing Zabuza and Haku to ask Kakashi to stop them. They are subsequently reinforced by former members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, escalating the conflict during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
