The actual Deidara recovers his arm and meets Zetsu and the masked Tobi, who holds Sasori's ring, before joining the Akatsuki. Simultaneously, villagers in the Hidden Sand pay final respects to Chiyo. Team Kakashi and Team Guy return to the Hidden Leaf. There, an elderly ninja requests that Sai join Team Kakashi. This event concludes the Kazekage Rescue Mission arc, which consists of 32 episodes.
