Before passing away, Chiyo imparts a message to Naruto regarding the importance of learning from the past and embracing the wisdom of the future. Following her death, Gaara is revived and awakens to see the surrounding ninjas celebrating his return. Kankuro informs Naruto that Chiyo died to save Gaara and the villagers of the Hidden Sand. The Hidden Sand residents offer their prayers for Chiyo as the group processes the events of the mission. This segment is part of the Kazekage Rescue Mission arc, specifically episodes 31 and 32.
