Naruto fights a clone of Madara and headbutts Tobi, then battles reanimated Jinchuriki while recognizing Utakata in a metaphysical plane. Utakata explains his fate after leaving Tsuchigumo village and being captured by Pain. Naruto returns to reality to fight alongside Bee against the reanimated Jinchuriki. He mentions meeting the real Madara, but Tobi claims his identity is irrelevant since only the Project Tsuki no Mi matters. Tobi asserts the world is worthless and that Naruto and Bee should understand its misery. Naruto rejects this, stating his life with a Tailed Beast is not bad, calls Tobi a liar, and vows to unmask him. As the reanimated Jinchuriki grow tails, Tobi declares his intent to capture Naruto and Bee to fulfill his plan.
