Ep. 4: Gaara Defends Against Deidara While Naruto and Sakura Outsmart Kakashi

Deidara attempts to capture Gaara, the Jinchuriki of the Sand, by flying around the Hidden Sand Village on a clay bird. Gaara easily evades Deidara's attacks and ultimately envelops himself in a complete sand shield. Meanwhile, in the Hidden Leaf, Kakashi employs water, fire, and earth techniques to take the offensive against Naruto and Sakura. Realizing they need a new strategy, Naruto threatens Kakashi with a major spoiler from his book "Make-Out Tactics." As Kakashi covers his ears, Naruto and Sakura successfully retrieve the bells from his hand. Back at the village, Gaara maintains his defensive posture while Deidara considers his next move to capture the Jinchuriki.
