Ep. 7: Kankuro confronts Sasori in the desert while allies depart for the Hidden Sand

Sasori sets traps at the Hidden Sand entrance to kill pursuing ninjas after Deidara returns with Gaara. Kankuro saves two comrades and tracks Sasori, who orders Deidara to escape while he stays to eliminate Kankuro. The next day, Kankuro employs the Puppet Technique using the Crow, Black Ant, and Salamander to fight Sasori in the desert. Meanwhile, the Hidden Sand sends a message via the hawk Takamaru to the Hidden Leaf. Naruto reflects in his room, recalling past events.
