Jiraiya immobilizes Naruto, recalling Gamamaru's prophecy, while Sasuke battles Sasori's puppets after remembering his father's unfavorable comparisons to Itachi. Other genin join to protect Sasuke as Team Jiraiya observes. The masked man and Neji debate the genin's motivations. Sasori reveals more puppets, but Naruto recalls Rasengan training with Minato and suppresses the Nine-Tails' chakra. Jiraiya retreats, sending Naruto to help his teammates.
