Ep. 494: Naruto and Hinata’s wedding preparations involve missions and Iruka’s career dilemma

Villagers congratulate Naruto and Hinata on their upcoming marriage while Konohamaru records messages as a gift. Iruka struggles to compose his own message and manages three jealous students who resent his constant comparisons to Naruto. With some shinobi on missions, Kakashi assigns a task to find a wedding gift, where the value determines attendance. Iruka is offered the vice-principal position at the Academy but hesitates until pressured to take an exam. His student Tsukane attempts to gain recognition by stealing Hokage Seals but is caught by Iruka, who realizes his mistakes in comparing Tsukane to Naruto. Consequently, Iruka decides to take the required exam.
