Ep. 22: Tatsuhiro's Deception and Misaki's Despair in Tokyo

Tatsuhiro and Hitomi spend New Year's Eve in Tokyo, where Tatsuhiro dreams of intimacy. Misaki sees them together at Shibuya train station before they part. Tatsuhiro lies to Misaki about the meeting, causing her distress. The next day, Yamazaki calls Tatsuhiro, mentioning his abundance of milk and cheese. Misaki overhears this and runs away. Later, she confronts Tatsuhiro about seeing him with Hitomi. He cannot deny the accusation. As Tatsuhiro worries about the coming year, Misaki feels he has become her prisoner, deepening the emotional tension between them following the events in Tokyo.
