Misaki declares Tatsuhiro successful and presents a contract defining their relationship, but he refuses due to concerns about her well-being. She later collapses at home and is hospitalized. Her uncle explains her traumatic childhood, marked by an unstable mother and abusive stepfather. Tatsuhiro visits the hospital only to find that Misaki has left the facility, presumably to attempt suicide.
