Ep. 24: Tatsuhiro and Misaki survive suicide attempts and agree to face life together

Tatsuhiro stops Misaki from jumping off a cliff where her mother died. He then tries to kill himself to destroy the NHK conspiracy he blames for her troubles, realizing he acts out of love. His attempt fails when he hits a new safety fence. Back in Tokyo, he gets letters from Kaoru and Hitomi about their new lives. Eventually, Misaki gives Tatsuhiro a pact. They agree to keep living and enduring their problems as long as the other person does the same. This resolution follows their shared trauma and Tatsuhiro's failed sacrifice. The pair commits to facing their future struggles together rather than ending their lives.
