Ep. 12: Chiko confronts the White Haired Devil while Akechi rescues Akine from hypnosis

Chiko, fleeing from pursuers, meets Akechi, who is hunting Twenty Faces. Determined to protect her companions, she travels to the island containing Twenty Faces' initial hideout to face the White Haired Devil. Enraged by what she believes is Tome's death, Chiko attacks the Devil but is easily overpowered. Meanwhile, Akechi locates and frees Akine from the Devil's mental control, and they proceed to the island. Chiko is compelled to battle Shunka and subsequently succumbs to the Devil's spell. Her situation is resolved by the sudden appearance of Twenty Faces, who had been impersonating Akechi, Akine, and Ken, allowing them to rescue her from the dangerous encounter.
