Chiko frequents a secret hill where she encounters Kakashima Kouhei, a former teacher of Twenty Faces. He reveals that Chiko is merely a pawn in Twenty Faces' plans, causing her confusion. Despite this revelation, she chooses to trust Twenty Faces. Kouhei explains that a song Twenty Faces taught her is actually a French poem concerning the law of men. While researching the song later, Chiko is attacked by a mysterious, exceptionally fast and strong boy. Ken intervenes to save her, advising her to remain safe from further danger.
