Ken informs Chiko that Twenty Faces likely died from falling off the airship, prompting them to take control of the vessel. The passengers awaken, revealing they were not actually poisoned. Meanwhile, Tome successfully gains parental rights over Chiko and acquires a mansion for their residence. Bombs detonated on the airship compel Ken and Chiko to crash-land into the sea. All individuals on board, including Chiko and Ken, are subsequently rescued. Akechi, who had been tracking the airship, discloses that Twenty Faces was searching for the fourth state of water. The narrative concludes with Chiko and Tome reuniting at a hospital.
