Ep. 22: Shunka visits Chiko in England where they encounter a supernatural killer while searching for a lost boy.

Three years after previous events, Shunka travels to England to see Chiko, who has lost interest in detective work and refuses to return to Japan because she enjoys school. While searching for a lost Japanese boy, they encounter a killer that appears non-human but is vulnerable to physical attacks. Ken arrives with his throwing knife, drawing the killer's attention, and is assisted by Dr. Kayama in defeating the threat. The police and Tome locate the boy's parents. A newspaper clipping reveals Ken is adopting the identity of One-Eyed Thief K, following Twenty Faces. Shunka decides to return home to marry her fiancé and invites Chiko to the wedding. Chiko visits her friends' grave and chooses to return to Japan. In the final scene, she addresses someone off-screen as Oji-san, suggesting Twenty Faces is present.
