Ep. 1: Former champion Joe fights as Nomad against Chief in an underground ring

Five years after winning Megalonia, Joe fights as Nomad in underground rings to fund his painkiller addiction. He challenges Chief, a skilled former pro who dominates the circuit. Nomad recognizes Chief from a bar, while Chief seems to know Joe’s identity. During the match, Nomad realizes Chief was paid to lose but still loses by a weak punch. Afterward, Chief punches Nomad in the gut, mocking his drug reliance. Joe rides away on his bike and encounters a dead wolf, which he buries. Later, the ghost of Nanbu returns to haunt him.
