Discussions about Shiori soon having a little sister and the brothers of Komari and Natsumi graduating middle school cause Renge to take her big sister role more seriously. Meanwhile, Kazuho invites Kaede from the Candy Store for drinks. Kaede becomes intoxicated but hides her condition from Renge. After a comment from Hikage, Kaede reminisces about when Renge was a baby. Both women reflect on how the children they once cared for are now caring for others in their own lives.
