The Asahigaoka Branch School continues to have only five students, and each girl has formed cherished memories of life in the rural Japanese countryside. While some experiences are personal, such as Hotaru's recollection of her first day before meeting her classmates, others help bring the quiet town to life for Komari, Natsumi, Renge, and Suguru.
