Renge visits Natsumi but finds her family absent. A hand speaks to her from behind a fence, initially frightening her until she realizes it belongs to neighbor Konomi. Konomi reveals she is a monster. Later, the Koshigaya sisters share that they removed their training wheels in first grade. Inspired by this story, Renge begins practicing how to ride her bicycle without training wheels.
