Junpei Kousaka, a teenager allergic to cats, accidentally damages a cat deity statue and incurs a curse from Buddhist monk Keizo Kirishima. He is forced to grant one hundred requests from felines or risk being transformed into a cat. His first task, assigned by Nyamsus and Tama, involves helping stray cats in a local park who are being tormented. While at the mall, Junpei encounters his crush, Kaede Mizuno. Later, he discovers that the tormentor is actually Kaede, who possesses an extreme fondness for cats that manifests as smothering behavior, causing distress to the animals. Junpei must navigate this situation to fulfill his cursed obligation while dealing with the unexpected revelation about his crush's peculiar habits.
