Nagi gives Junpei amusement park tickets to resolve their issues, but Kaede and Kanako join unexpectedly, disappointing Nagi. While Kanako takes Junpei on a roller coaster, Nagi reveals information to Kaede that causes her to blush. Junpei attempts to bond with Kaede during a haunted house visit and a Ferris wheel ride, but these moments are interrupted when Nagi photographs them, prompting Kanako to attack Junpei out of jealousy. As Kaede begins developing feelings for Junpei and worries about his romantic interests, she searches for him after school at sunset. She eventually locates him at a Buddhist temple, where she secretly observes him with a girl who is aware of his curse.
