Junpei assists a caba cat in thanking a girl who aided it, only to discover she is Kanako Sumiyoshi, a childhood acquaintance wearing manba makeup. During the annual high school cultural festival, she insists he fulfill his promise, though he hesitates due to a past incident where he gave her cat doll to another girl. When a student accidentally spills water on Kanako, removing her makeup, she chases him in anger. Kaede intervenes to dry Kanako off. Following the festival, Junpei finally expresses his gratitude, leading to reconciliation between the two. The caba cat subsequently moves in with Junpei temporarily until a permanent home is found for the animal.
