Ep. 15: Elderly Judo Master Rejects Substandard Sea Perch Curry at Family Restaurant
Aired on February 6, 1989

15
Judo master Gentarou Torasawa intervenes to stop a purse-snatcher targeting Kurita, then invites her friends and Yamaoka to a curry shop owned by his granddaughter Asae and her husband Kitao Tochikawa. Torasawa orders a meatless dish, but Kitao serves sea perch which Torasawa deems inedible. Yamaoka agrees the low-fat fish lacks flavor. Torasawa leaves angrily, taking Asae. Kitao reveals he once qualified for Olympic judo before an injury forced him to open the restaurant. Later, Yamaoka suggests adding bone marrow to the curry, a change that succeeds and finally earns Torasawa's approval.
