Toshio Amano, a timid part-time employee at Touzai, loses his job due to communication struggles. After being invited to lunch by Yamaoka and the Culture Department Flower Trio, he reveals his embarrassment regarding his Tōhoku accent, though he later impresses them with his vocal abilities. Yamaoka secures him a position selling roasted sweet potatoes from a street cart. However, Toshio fails to attract customers because he is too shy to call out loudly. Kurita advises him to sing in his natural Tōhoku accent instead. This approach captures the neighborhood's attention, turning his street vending efforts into a success.
