Teito News announces a Supreme Menu project led by Yuzan Kaibara to beat Touzai News. President Ohara challenges Yamaoka to release monthly dishes instead. Kaibara tasks wankata Ryouzou Okaboshi with the dishes, instructing him to signal that the first appetizer uses egg. Yamaoka accepts, and Weekly Times editors select judges. At the first tasting, Yamaoka presents a soft-boiled egg with truffle sauce. Kaibara counters with egg yolk misozuke. Kaibara wins due to the careful selection of miso and eggs.
