Ep. 5: Tamotsu tests Tatsumi while Sayaka transforms into an adult to escape peer pressure

Tamotsu assigns Tatsumi a task to demonstrate his editorial capabilities, though he initially falls short of the master author's high standards. Meanwhile, Sayaka attempts to avoid her classmates, but they corner her on a bridge and demand to see her home. They criticize her for appearing too mature, prompting the young magical girl to fantasize about possessing an adult body. The following day, Sayaka feigns illness to retreat to the school nurse's office, where she uses magic to transform into an older version of herself. While wandering the town, she encounters Tatsumi studying an old relic. Ureshiko, having detected Sayaka's magic, arrives just as Tatsumi agrees to meet the transformed Sayaka again, declaring indifference toward his actions. Tatsumi later presents his findings to Tamotsu, who expresses genuine impression. At home, Tatsumi encourages a upset Ureshiko to smile, while Sayaka admires her own clever transformation. All three conclude that growing up is an enjoyable yet difficult experience.
