Takeo and Rinko visit the mountains to celebrate her birthday after it was previously interrupted. A hawk attempts to steal the brooch Takeo purchased for her, causing both to fall from the mountainside. Takeo ensures they land safely, but they find themselves in an unfamiliar section of the woods. While trying to return to civilization, Rinko feels anxious about spending the night with Takeo. That evening, as Takeo prepares to sleep, Rinko kisses him on the cheek. The following morning, they encounter various woodland animals before finally reaching the roadside and returning home safely.
