Tanabe and Hachimaki maintain their connection as she shares her wish to return to space. Hachimaki and Cheng-Shin visit Claire in prison, where she explains she saved Tanabe on the Moon by signaling a shuttle bus, possibly due to being moved by Tanabe's devotion to her ideals. Meanwhile, Dolph declines to return to Technora, staying as president of Galileo Development following the Jupiter Project's success. On the lunar surface, Hakim meets Nono, who persuades him to abandon plans for another terrorist attack. After months of intensive physical therapy and full recovery, Tanabe visits the ISPV 7, where Debris Section members and friends rejoice at their reunion. Hachimaki and Tanabe spend time in space, leading to his marriage proposal. Months later, Hachimaki departs for Jupiter aboard the Von Braun, while Tanabe watches, implying she is pregnant.
