Ep. 23: Licht faces Sonohara and Doan while Murdoch blocks attacks and a black hole vanishes him

Sonohara blames Licht for her madness and classmate deaths, while Doan holds him responsible for the loss. Murdoch prevents Licht from activating Schmelman, noting his count of one limits his iron summons. He blocks Sonohara’s shots, causing her to break down and admit she cannot shoot him. Licht rejects Alcia’s flawed concept, vowing to rebuild his non-killing army. He and Doan fight brutally, revealing Licht could never kill children, forcing Doan to slaughter hundreds to protect him. Doan opposes Licht’s new war, while Licht opposes Alcia’s exploitation of the weak. Determining one must die, Doan creates a black hole that cancels Licht’s light speed movements, sucking him in and causing him to vanish completely.
