Following reports of Dragonite, Ash and Goh search for a mysterious island believed to be its habitat. Goh catches a Dewgong as a Ride Pokémon, but its pursuit of a female companion leads them into a storm. Dragonite rescues them and transports them to the island. There, they learn about the local Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite populations. Ash and Pikachu assist a Dragonair that struggles with learning to fly, providing support during their stay on the island.
