The World Coronation Series Masters Tournament begins with an opening ceremony introducing the Masters Eight members. Following this, the first round pairings are announced: Dande faces Alan, Wataru battles Carnet, Shirona competes against Iris, and Satoshi takes on Daigo. The match between Dande and Alan commences immediately. Throughout the battle, Alan fails to gain control. In the final matchup, Dande's Lizardon defeats Alan's Lizardon, resulting in Alan's elimination from the tournament. Consequently, Dande secures the victory and advances to the second round of the competition.
