Ash, Delia, Mr. Mime, and Professor Oak travel to Vermilion City for Professor Cerise’s new lab. Cerise asks new trainer Goh to select a Kanto starter, but Goh refuses, preferring to find Mew. Lugia suddenly appears, prompting Ash and Goh to meet. The two embark on an extraordinary journey together to learn more about the legendary Pokémon Lugia.
