The group arrives in a town where many children have recently disappeared. They collaborate with Jenny to investigate at the Pokémon Center, but Nurse Joy is distracted because the Pokémon there are failing to recover. Jenny explains that a strange sleep wave has been affecting the area for several days. The heroes suspect this phenomenon is connected to both the missing kids and the ill Pokémon. Meanwhile, Team Rocket independently searches for the source of these bizarre events. The group must determine the cause of the sleep wave and resolve the crisis facing the town's residents and creatures.
