Ep. 26: The group visits Celadon City where Ash is banned from a store over perfume prices before seeking a gym battle.

The traveling party reaches Celadon City, a town characterized by large department stores, condominiums, and fancy arcades. Brock and Misty become captivated by a young woman in a miniskirt selling perfume, but Ash is appalled by the high cost and is subsequently ejected from the department store. He proceeds alone to the Celadon Gym, only to be denied entry. The perfume criticized by Ash is actually manufactured within this gym. While Brock and Misty enter the facility and befriend its inhabitants, Ash faces significant obstacles just to gain access to the building, let alone challenge the Master for a battle.
