Following the defeat of Team Plasma, Ash resolves to return to Kanto. Iris and Cilan accompany him to continue their training. Professor Juniper arranges a cruise through the Decolore Islands for the group aboard a vessel crewed by mysterious individuals. After settling into their cabins, Ash discovers that the doors are locked and his Pokémon are missing from their side.
