Ep. 11: Richie and Sparky help Nurse Joys save their historic Pokemon Center from demolition.
Richie and Sparky intervene when two Nurse Joys attempt to halt the demolition of a Pokemon Center scheduled for destruction. The elder Joy explains the building’s 75-year history, noting it opened when Celebi inhabited the rural area and coinciding with the disappearance of her friend Nick in a landslide. A Celebi reveals a hidden carving to Richie, transporting him to the past, the day before the Center’s opening. There, he rescues a young Joy from a cliff and meets Nick, who is carving a Celebi statue. During a storm, Nick saves Joy from a falling tree and lightning, inspiring her nursing career. Richie later convinces Nick to return, preventing a landslide and allowing him to confess his feelings to Joy. Celebi returns Richie to the present, where the Center is restored, Nick serves as mayor, and the town has reverted to a peaceful, green community.
