Ep. 7: Professor Oak Vanishes After TV Appearance, Sparky and Charmeleon Rescue Him

Professor Oak disappears following a live broadcast on Seafoam Island, prompting Tracey and Richie to investigate the TV station. They discover that Butch and Cassidy kidnapped the Professor to force him to reveal the location of Pokerus for Dr. Namba’s project. While the captors torment Oak with noise, Richie’s Taillow locates the Team Rocket hideout. The rescuers arrive just as Cassidy and Butch deploy Sableye and Mightyena against Tracey’s Scyther and Richie’s Pikachu. Richie then sends out Charmeleon to assist. Together, Sparky and Charmeleon defeat the villains and their Pokemon, blasting them away. Officer Jenny ensures Professor Oak and DJ Mary return safely for their show, and Richie receives an invitation to visit the lab.
