Ep. 2: Ash contacts Sycamore about Squishy while Team Rocket plots to steal Eevee and friends

Traveling toward Snowbelle City, Ash and his companions contact Professor Sycamore to inquire about Bonnie’s new companion, Squishy. Team Rocket learns this might be a novel Pokémon species and begins formulating a theft strategy. Meanwhile, Serena and Eevee practice when a wild Quilladin emerges from the woods, offering Eevee a heart-shaped Vine Whip and flowers. Pancham and Chespin intervene to defend their friend, prompting Quilladin to challenge them to a battle to impress Eevee. The confrontation is halted when Team Rocket captures Eevee, Dedenne, Squishy, and Bunnelby in a net. The three Pokémon unite to defeat the villains, sending them blasting off. A Flareon then attracts Quilladin’s interest, allowing the group to depart peacefully.
