Star Wraith discovers the Mohists' location, prompting the Emperor to dispatch General Meng and elite Golden Flame soldiers to Shanghai to retrieve the Black Dragon Scroll. During the mission, Shi Lan and Ziyu battle Hidden Bat but are rescued from death by a large black cat that appears allied with Shi Lan. Meanwhile, Wei Zhuang meets a mysterious figure who forces him to reconsider his motives and identify his true enemy. As General Meng's forces advance, the Confucians retreat and encounter Ge Nie, now the empire's number one wanted criminal, who demands the general and his troops withdraw.
