Ep. 1: Naoto Takayama joins classmates to form a group at the National Railway Central Academy

Naoto Takayama travels to enroll in Japan's National Railway Central Academy, where he meets Aoi Sakurai and Haruka Koumi. They befriend each other and form a group with Shou Iwaizumi. The four participate in shooting practice and a coal-throwing test, becoming the only group to pass by achieving a speed of 100 km/h. During their final on-site training, they catch a pair of thieves. As a result of their success, they are granted participation rights to the OJT.
