Her friend Kaori disappears, prompting Mari to request the Defense Four's assistance. After reviewing reports without success, Mari detects Kaori's ringtone in the lost and found. Using her exceptional hearing, she identifies specific station details from an audio recording on the phone. The team searches warehouses along the identified line, discovering Kaori tied up as a crime scene witness. They defeat the criminals involved and transport Kaori to the hospital for medical care.
